out of state infertility centers (which one to pick for DOR and aged women)?

Anonymous
Hi, where to go for those 40+ women with DOR?My AMH is 2.07 and AFC is around 14. Any comments are welcome.
1. RMA New Jersey
2. NYU Langone
3. New Hope Fertility in New York
4. Columbia University
I am willing to travel. Don't want to waste time due to age. Thanks.

New Hope. I did one mini IVF. I was 43 and 9 months at retrieval. Got three eggs. First two as not work. Last one implanted at age 44 and a half. Split in two so I delivered identical twins at 45. Did acupuncture every week while trying. Good luck. I used donor sperm

If you have the funds, do the initial waitlist/appointment with all four then decide from there.

Why do you think you have DOR? Your numbers sound good to me.

Your numbers are great! Where is the DOR diagnosis coming from??!?

The age and the AMH?
The AFC is not bad but at least half the eggs she will get will be abnormal.

This doesn’t sound like DOR.

Honestly? Probably CCRM in coloRado

I had DOR and my AMH was 0.7 after 40. Weill Cornell with Dr. Davis. I didn't end up having success (moved on to donor eggs, probably later than I should have), but he was excellent.

NYU langone. Dr. Jennifer Blakemore. You can look at her stats and reviews on fertility IQ. There is no better fertility specialist out there

Do not go to RMA NJ. They are not DOR specialists and stick to very rigid protocols.

Generation Next or New Hope for mini stim (worked for me at Gen Next).

Dr Davis at Cornell for estrogen priming.

I did almost a dozen rounds and after getting blasted with max stims and having horrific egg quality went to Dr Luk at Gen Next and did mini stim. My best cycle by far. DD is 2 now.

May I know where you go for acupuncture?

I went to People Tree Wellness. NYC. Also Dr Luk did retrieval and implantation. She used to be at New Hope. She was great. I see she is now at Gen Next.

.

Why not new hope then? I feel that the lab is at least as important as the RE physician if not more. Just did the first round of ER at Gen Next. Not impressed. Only see the doctor for five minutes for the whole process.

Agree. Everyone at New Hope was great. Go there for consult. Dr. Zhang was very honest with me.
