| How is it? Do you regret making the move from your previous school or are you loving it? |
| Most are excellent. The biggest challenge is that it is freshman year, so there is less separation of the kids who are interested in learning and those who aren't. In my experience that was the same situation at JR and other public schools. As the year has gone on, there has been better class participation and increased comfort. Math and English have been truly spectacular and I am very pleased with both those, but no "bad" teachers as far as I can tell |
| The AP works really well with the teachers. |

All good experiences so far! We’re happy with communication, updated Aspen, and DD doesn’t have complaints.
Hoping they keep hiring well as they grow! |
| Principal McCray is a maestro of hiring. Teachers from across the District keep reaching out to try to work with him at MacArhur. He has his pick of the litter with staff. |
yeah the principal and AP are doing an incredible job. props to them. hope they can keep it up without DCPS pulling the rug from under them. |
Harold McCray Jr. has entered the forum. |
Says who? |
| Nope. I posted that. Not only am I not McCray, I’m not even a MacArthur parent. Let’s say I know about the requests to transfer than come into Central Office. |
| I don't that many kids are using the phone to make homework; because teachers given this option,?.using the paper homework will be great .too much phone and social.media i. |
Huh? |
| 9th grade kid is happy with most classes. No serious complaints other than the classes being too long. This would have happened at J-R too. |
