My 2010 Toyota Sienna needs expensive repairs so I have decided to replace it. I would probably like to buy a new hybrid (not plug in). I don't want a minivan but would like something with a bit more space in the rear than a Rav4 (we already have one). Ideally, it wouldn't be too much wider than a Rav4. It would be our second car and would be shared with my two teen kids. It would be good to fit the dog in the back. We don't do long road trips anymore. Any suggestions?

Thanks for those are 6 inches wider than the Rav4. I was hoping to get a bit of length but not width. Would rather teens were not driving a particularly wide vehicle given the narrowness of roads in DC. |
I think you either need to look at minivans like the Sienna or decide what size SUV you want but the nature of SUVs is that as they longer they get bigger (otherwise they’d be stationwagons or minivans). |
| I’d look at the regular highlander. My teen likes driving it. |
