I’d love to watch this. What’s it called? Is it new?

The old one? That starts with background clips of their fight on stage?

Born in 1970. I absolutely loved it. So many memories with their music. I remember as a kid my dad playing Hotel California on the deck in the summer…and at the neighborhood pool with “peaceful, easy feeling” playing.

I got a kick the concert they showed at the end of the entire thing was at the old Cap center in Landover. My dad had season tickets to the Caps—inaugural year and all and one of us kids would get to go to a gabe with him.

What a wild time. 70s-80s were a blast. I didn’t realize all the connections with Bob Seger, Linda Rotstandt and Jackson Browne. Hearing how certain songs came about, the history of them and how they’d hear a phrase and build a song around it was fascinating.

Songs really told a story back then, unlike today.

It's a great documentary. It's not new.

Loved the film footage.

Loved how the Southern California rock scene came together with them singing back up to Linda Ronstadt before they were famous. She gave them their start. And Jackson Browne lived downstairs from them. They could hear him writing and practicing "Dr. My Eyes."
