NP. OP meant "closed".
LCPS is closed tomorrow due to the potential for snow accumulation, I assume mainly in the western portion of the county. They just sent out the announcement a little while ago.

OP here. Yes I meant closed. Even the language in the email is so classically Loudoun. No such thing as too careful, lol. FYI the overnight low in western Loudoun tonight is 34.

“Due to the potential for unsafe roads because of forecasted morning snowfall in western Loudoun, and the challenge the timing of the potential snowfall presents, Loudoun County Public Schools will be closed tomorrow, February 13.”

This was absolutely the right call today. I joke sometimes that if someone sees a snowflake, LCPS shuts down for a week. But it was a good call today.

Yes, I live in Loudoun. Yes, I know that the county with the highest median income in the U.S. can't get over their love affair with gravel roads. Because rustic, or something.
