Why would working out give me a headache?

Anonymous
I swim, jog, and do elliptical for cardio. About 75% of the time, I get a headache within 1 hr about working out -- esp. after swimming laps.
I am pretty sure I am not dehydrated. I mean, drinking a 2 liter bottle of water is theoretically possible but I don't think that's the correct answer. I drink plenty of oz. of liquid a day.

Is there any other obvious reason for headaches after cardio?

Try eating lightly an hour before your workout. Stretch before and after the workout, especially the spine and shoulders.

I would say blood sugar levels may have dropped. Eating a piece of fruit could help, after the work out.

How is your blood pressure? It may be going up during exercise and giving you a headache.
