Has anyone read Alasdair Gray's Poor Creatures?

That was made into the film, Poor Things?

I know the original book is based in Glasgow instead of London, Lisbon etc as per the film, but I wondered if anyone had read it and seen the film and could comment on the differences?

No, but I thought of reading it because I enjoyed Poor Things!

No, but several people in my book club have and they generally can't decide what they think. Sounds like the ending makes the reader question everything that came before.
