Apple Watch HRV

Anonymous
I’ve been doing cardio for 5-6 days a week for the past 8 weeks. I’m trying to lose weight as well as improve my overall health and fitness. Additionally, I am training to run my first 5K.

I’ve noticed my heart rate variability drops to as low as 10 after running or doing my workouts. Is this worrisome? It generally runs anywhere between 30 and 75. I’m a 33 year old female if that matters. Thank you.

10 seems strangely low. How do you feel after your workouts?

How do you feel? Take what the watches say with a grain of salt - they are just for fun.

A simple google search shows that this is a common complaint.

DP: This is a bit of an off the wall statement to make given it's an anon board and many of us have similar experiences in general, and feel and even say "wow I could have written this myself".

Ten? That is most likely an error with the watch.
