Help Me Plan a Self-Care Night

Anonymous
I want to start having regular self-care Sundays. I'm thinking a consciously healthy and light dinner, shower (I have a nice bathtub and used to love long hot baths, but not since the hot flashes started), do the blowout I never make time for during the week, mani/pedi, face mask, body butter, and unplug for the evening. Maybe a special beverage, like a Recess which I love, but find expensive.

Any other ideas? Especially more heath than beauty related?

Maybe a walk before dinner? And/or a stretching routine.

Sounds like you could use a self-care night. It might help ease that nasty disposition of yours? Since this is the beauty forum I'll say this: be careful, boorish behavior can affect your face. It probably already has. Are you really ugly? Yeah. That's what I thought.

Yoga, stretching, meditation, a walk, journaling. Reading a book.

As soon as you said “plan” you lost me. Just relax with having to plan to relax and follow a schedule.

An edible (seriously)

A walk

It's hard to know what you're aiming for, honestly - what you want to get out of this. Also it sounds very time consuming to do this every Sunday! Which is already sort of stressing me out.

+1, once a month I get it.. but every week? Good for you that you can take time. Yoga, stretching, walk should be every day if not 3-4 times a week.

A yoga or meditation class
