I’ve been in a three day slump

Barely have moved. Sat on the couch, scrolling on my phone and eating and watching TV. I’ve showered and done some laundry but that’s about it. It sounds nice I know but I just feel like it was a waste of my time when I could’ve been productive and exercised and didn’t eat crap. How do you pull yourself out of these ruts?

Give yourself grace. You can exercise and not eat crap tomorrow or Sunday. Maybe get out and go for a walk. Meet up with a friend. Good luck.

These three days are done. Tomorrow make sure to (1) shower; (2) walk outside for 30 minutes; and (3) call a friend.

I've had a similar week, OP, and reading your post actually roused me to get up and do a 10 minute workout video, take a shower, and make a salad for dinner.

Sometimes you just need a jump start. Thanks for giving me mine.

I’ve been drinking water and showering every day. I’m just immobile otherwise lol

Thanks PP. I’m feeling so guilty about letting these days just go by me but I’ll try to make tomorrow better

It is mid February behavior.

Drink a lot of water, try to eat a fruit or vegetable, go for a short walk, have a shower, and make a plan for tomorrow remembering that it is a new day.
