We have steak knives that came in our set of Wusthof knives, but I don’t care for them. They are too small/petite to hold comfortably.
Any recommendations? |
| henckels knives are the best! |
| We use forge de Laguiole steak knives. However we purchased them in France over 20 years ago. |
| I forget the brand, but I won a set as second prize in a sales contest |
| Sounds crazy but Cutco. Received them as a gift decades ago. So good - we lost a few at picnics/BBQs and a few got poached. |
| Henckels ProS. |
I have these too, but purchased in Canada within the last 10 years. Love love them but if your issue OP is that you don’t like a small knife, these are definitely on the smaller side. |
| Why are restaurant steak knives so large compared to knives sold for home use? |
We got Henckels from Target, they’re terrible. |
| Wirecutter reviewed steak knives n December. Their top pick was Material The Table Knives. Also liked Avanta fine edge steak knives by Messermeister. |
| We love our Wusthof but maybe it’s because I have small hands. |
Not all Henckels are the same. You got the cheap ones. |
| Messermeister avanta - not that expensive and has survived many accidental trips to the dishwasher. We have the more expensive laguiole ones, but these have a better size and weight. |
