All top schools are rich kids schools

Lol not jealous. I’m an alumni and the whole thing seems super sketchy to me. I wouldn’t send my kid to school in Missouri anyway.

Doesn't seem like a very rational response

WashU up to its UChicago/NYU tricks. Full pay, decent students with high yield.

Totally after claiming they were going to be the most equitable school in the country! I predict they will soon b grouped with Tulane

Not good for USNWR rankings which is now based not on the number of poors you take.

I don't believe that you are an alumnus. If you were, you would know that even 30 years ago, Wash U was admitting a ton of students from the mid-atlantic (I had several friends who went to the various Montgomery County high schools). You also would know that Wash U is in a great part of town with a beautiful campus, it's not "just Missouri". I wouldn't want to live there now (although I have friends who do), but it was a good place to go to school.

NP WUSTL must have made an agreement with some private schools as they took students well outside the top 25%.
