Kindergarten soccer

I am so confused by the options. We live in Rockville and have done City of Rockville in the past because of friends on the team. It’s been fine but friends are not doing soccer anymore so questioning if there is something that is a better fit for my very interested by slightly shy kindergartener who really enjoys the actual games and being on a team.

As far as I can tell options are:
MSI - but it’s not local for kindergartens. And no actual game/team?

ROSA - I don’t know anything about their k program but have friends who love it for older kids. Can’t seem to tell if they play games vs just clinics.

Olney boys and girls club - this looks potentially good but I can’t tell how many practices per week and it’s further for us so not sure it’s worth it.

Am I missing any? If you have done any of the above for a kindergarten age please share your experience. Thank you!!!!

There is SAM soccer at the md soccerplex in Germantown. Nice fields. Potomac, Bethesda have soccer that you can start at 5 years old. It's usually 4 v 4. You can also look at FCGB and Juventus to see if they have something.

MSI has a kindergarten program based in Rockville: https://msisoccer.org/programs/kindergarten/

They run sessions that have games on weekends and the option to attend skills sessions during the week. We did it several years ago with a group from my DD's school so the girls were together and then they stayed together as a rec team for 1st and 2nd.

I don’t think any of them really have a “team” at that age. MSI kindergarten program is still somewhat local split up to several locations but starts in 1st when they’ll do it by ES if enough kids (or combine schools/random). They’ll do scrimmages and fun games.

Brit Am used to have a program with practices and games; assume they still do. They do a lot of little kid stuff overall.

I’ve heard good things on FCGB young kid programs.

Bethesda has juniors program. I’m sure Potomac has similar.

PPA is a great program for this age

PPA may be a good program, but i wouldn't travel to DC if living in Rockville.
