Infertility Support and Discussion
I know during the natural TTC process, the implantation happens between 6-12 days past ovulation. And during this time many processes happen: fertilization, development of a blastocyst, travel of a blastocyst from a fallopian tube to the uterus. So when you are undergoing an IVF, it eliminates all these steps when an already developed blastocyst is placed directly into the uterus. So my question is what is the timeframe for the implantation after ET?
Implantation timeframe is exactly the same for natural vs. IVF. A blastocyst in a natural cycle would be in your uterus by day 5 and is placed back in your uterus on day 5 with IVF. Implantation will then occur between day 6-12 or 1-7 days after a blastocyst transfer.
Not sure if this helps, but I had a ET of 5 day embryos on May 27 and got a faint positive on June 1.
My clinic told me 5-7 days post ET of 5 day blast, and I got a faint + line by 8 dpt
Thank you, everyone, for sharing your experience. It was very helpful. Hope you are all having smooth pregnancies.
