Council hearing on MCPS

Thursday at 3 PM. The Council's hearing staff is a former MCPS administrator. Why can't the Council find someone who didn't work for MCPS to run the hearing?

Because the corruption goes all the way to BOE and county council and Alex Robbins and Moco360 need to keep digging. They won’t because their goal is to keep their allies and apple ballot alive now that McKnight has been kicked to the curb. Sadly without a major overhaul, these issues will continue down the line. Choosing Felder is yet again another sign of BOE’s incompetence and mismanagement. Why aren’t people asking what they knew in 2016???

Can public submit questions? Where, how?

Many have been asking questions. We need to get parents who no longer have kids in the system also asking questions! But many are tired of MCPS at that point to be invested in asking questions but we need more to hold BOE accountable!

Committee hearings are run by the County Council member who is chair of the committee. Kate Stewart is chair of the audit committee. Will Jawando is chair of the education and culture committee.

And a former MCPS associate superintendent put together the packet for the hearing and runs the discussion.

What precisely is the Council hearing on MCPS about? As far as I know, the only connection between the 2 is the budget. Is the council considering a proposed budget increase, do they suspect mismanagement, or is there some other topic on the table?

It us about nothing. McGuire has given the Council nothing to investigate, no questions, no focus and no research on powers.
No one from MCPS has even committed to showing up.

Their knowledge and involvement in the latest harassment scandal. What they knew and when they knew. The Montgomery County voters need to know before voting this year!
