All these food holidays at once

Does this happen every year or often? Have I blocked it out? Lunar New Year, the Super Bowl, and Valentine’s Day all within the same week?

All food heavy holidays for me, which I love… but not all at once.

In my hometown, we sometimes celebrate the Super Bowl on a Saturday so it won't keep kids up too late on a school night. Is that happening in the DC area this year?

Two out of the three are not holidays.

How do you celebrate the Super Bowl on a Saturday? Like a week later?

I don't celebrate two of those three, and don't consider Valentine's Day a "food" holiday. There's no specific food we eat on Valentine's Day.

I don’t eat any more food than usual for any of those.

And no one says "Happy Super Bowl!" any more; it's all "Enjoy the Big Game." Stop the war on Superness!

Neither me nor DH follows the NFL but we are all about game day food. The other day he asked what I was thinking for a menu for “the football.” 🏈

How do you celebrate the Super Bowl without the game? What the hell are you doing on that Saturday at the “Super Bowl holiday” if the game isn’t even til the next day

Super Bowl is when I make the Rotel Sausage Dip and my famous peanut butter pie! You can only indulge in that once a year.
