Fairfax Collegiate Summer Geometry

Has anyone’s child taken the summer geometry at Fairfax Collegiate? I’m thinking of the class that is a review or get a head start. My DD will be taking geometry next year and has a very open days during the summer. Evenings and weekends are her travel sport but she has loads of time during the day. I want her to be able to relax and hang out with friends but the class is two hours a day for two weeks.

My kids haven't done geometry specifically, but we are huge fans of Fairfax Collegiate. We have done many of their math, science, and writing programs over the years. For math, I would sign the kids up for a preview of whatever course they are going to be taking the next year. If you are concerned though, you can have your kid do a diagnostic test for free before you pick the summer course. Also, if you happen to be in APS, I would also look at their writing program as it definitely helped my kids plug some of the holes in the APS writing curriculum.

PP - I see there are both virtual and in person options. Do you mind sharing which one you dc did?

We've done both. I think virtual is fine for math, but definitely do in person for science.
