| Nope. I live in a title 1 HS school district and love it. So much less drama. Great teachers. Wonderful community. My kids are excelling. |

There are some who are chill, some who are military families who aren’t getting bent out of shape about everything because they’ll be out of the area in the next 1-2 years, and a fairly large number who pretend to be chill but are really stressing. |

I’d never live in a Title 1 district by choice. I know I’d get a bigger house and “less drama” but I would rather have a smaller house but better school district. But that is me. No shade on people who make the opposite choice. Whatever floats your boat. Snide comments about others’ choices speaks to your own narrow-mindedness and not to the folks in McLean and elsewhere. |
