I notice this with DH. A few days before ovulation (I track with an app, so I know, even if he doesn't), he compliments me more, is more upbeat around me, and generally more handsy and interested. I understand that women's libidos change around ovulation, and that their behavior might change as well... but I notice that DH changes regardless of my behavior. I think there has to be some chemical he detects unconsciously. Or maybe hormonal fluctuations change the way I look and make me more attractive at that time?
Have you noticed something similar? |

Physically, you could look more fertile in subtle ways.
But you might be acting differently in ways that you don't fully appreciate -- better clothes, more likely to clean up, more upbeat, more receptive to his advances, and so forth. |
| Pheromones are real! |
| My husband is always ready, willing and able. But next time I will check him out. |
| We have the best sex when I am ovulating. |
| Not really, but I notice that I tend to take more selfies and dress better right before/during ovulation. So I could see DH picking up on the fact that I feel more attractive and presentable. |
| Strippers report getting more tips during ovulation. There is something to it. It only makes sense. |
| Recently (I’m 39) I’ve noticed that I just look prettier at that time of month. My skin looks more youthful, there are just very tiny changes in my appearance that are otherwise hard to notice. It’s very subtle. |
| I have read that you actually are. Somehow straight men can tell. |
| Yes. My DH hangs off me like some sort of pathetic puppy. I get a bit ragey around ovulation and it’s all I can do to not tell him to get the f*ck off me. |
|
Yes,
Of course!! The smells! |

Google: Are men more attracted to you before/during ovulation?
Lots of theories about this effect, in both directions. |
