Progesterone suppositories and mood swings

| I had an IUI a few days ago and just started on the suppositories. I've only used one so far but I feel really weepy. This isn't like me at all. Is this normal? Thanks |

| I had the same reaction post natural cycle IVF, started crying when I couldn't find a parking place at grocery store, my DH thinks I'm going nuts. I think it's the combination of high expectations and the progesterone, but I know it's also a sign of pregnancy so it's like mother nature messing with us. |

I've been feeling the same way since starting them. Everything makes me cry lately, especially seeing other people cry. I dropped a glass of water and cried for about 15 minutes the other day!
I've been taking HPTs, but they are still coming up negative, so it could be the suppositories, that I'm just not getting a positive yet, or just the stress of the experience. I'd guess PMS, but I'm *never* like this. |

| The progesterone made me crazy too, and made the 2WW even worse, especially when I kept getting negative HPTs. I sobbed on the drive home from work every day. |

I don't have terrible mood swings although my husband definitely annoys me  , but I have the worst bloating and cramps.

| Progesterone supps made me really impatient and bitchy, kind of like PMS! |

| I am impatient and bitchy every month as those are my PMS symptoms. I think progesterone toned down those symptoms. |

Prometrium definitely making me emotional. Had my IUI on Tuesday, started prometrium from wednesday morning twice daily. But yesterday evening while wiping down there, I saw a little bit of spotting, but today nothing there. I know it's really too early for implantation and spoting from IUI already stopped since wednesday. Anyone experienced same after IUI and while on prometrium? It's driving me nuts..

I was also very emotional and would cry a few times every day... often for not good reason... watching the news or looking at something pretty was enough for the tears to start rolling...
If you also have other symptoms (bad mood, bloating, etc.) you may want to try acupuncture... it really helped me with the symptoms. |
