Need a rec for southwest family road trip

Hi all -

Our family (kids ages 13 and 11) love to listen to audiobooks on long family road trips. Heading to the southwest (Utah/zion/Bryce/Grand Canyon) soon and looking for suggestions. Maybe historical fiction set in this area? Any suggestions?

The new Connie Willis — Road to Roswell I think— is basically about a road trip around the southwest of some characters who aee thrown together. They start in Roswell and end up in Las Vegas I think? The landscape of the southwest definitely is a focus.
