Mobile salon service, but I wash my hair: How much to tip?

| My stylist offers in-home mobile styling service, which I love! The only drawback is he doesn't wash my hair. I have to pre-shampoo and condition it before he arrives, and he does the style/cut. He does wash my hair when he does my color. He includes a $15 gas charge. While I can't beat the convenience and always love my hair, I do wonder if I should adjust tipping since I am not getting the full salon experience. Would you tip the same or tip based on the added convenience? |
