- Diplomat
- Senior level Sate appointment
- Any high-level White House appointment
- USAID
- CIA

Its prestigious to bow down to authority, including corrupt governments if you find yourself being born and working for/ in one? To me all of the above are the LEAST prestigious..Id rather make Latte;s

I used to think state department and diplomats were pretty cool growing up. As an adult, I've met so many who are insufferable and so self important. They're hard to be around. Hard pass.

With the state department there is a difference between high level appointees verses a randon analyst who no one cares about or knows.
Diploats, even junior ones, have access to exclusive information and state secrets in addition to being part of an exclusive network.
