| I would like to try a very small dose to help w anxiety |
| Just drive to Maryland , dispensaries are rampant |
| You cannot buy weed in DC. |
| you can buy edibles also in VA |
You certainly can. 🙄 |
So very wrong. |
| Too bad the city is cracking down on the gray market dispensaries. Hasn't stopped the delivery services from operating! |
If you are a federal employee, you can’t. |
| Dream on 18th street |
nope |
|
There’s a few shops in Georgetown
This one has an edibles list on there website: https://www.dcgardenhill.org/ |
Why is everything $0.00? |
Because in DC the actual cbd/marijuana is the "free gift with purchase." You buy something else, they give you the edibles "gratis." It's a way to get around the law. |

Most of the commenters are clueless. OP, you may register for a medical cannabis card for free. Visit https://abca.dc.gov/node/1626041#gsc.tab=0 for details. You self-certify, so there is no need to pay additional fees or see a medical professional. The process is very easy.
You will then be able to legally purchase cannabis products from a licensed dispensary. Here is the list of locations by ward, https://abca.dc.gov/page/medical-cannabis-retailer-locations#gsc.tab=0. They all have websites, so you can shop online, place your order, and pick up that day. If you're not sure what to purchase, you may call or visit the dispensary, and they will assist you with making an informed selection. I've had a good customer experience at National Holistic Healing Center in Dupont. I also appreciate that they're woman-owned. The medical cannabis retail experience is very different than going to a head shop and pretending to purchase a t-shirt in exchange for gratis products. There's no need to be shady when medical cannabis is legal and easy to acquire. |
| Omg just drive to Maryland you don’t need a medical card and you don’t need to go into some weird head shop and buy other products. You can just buy THC gummies at the dose you want from an actual dispensary, legally, for recreational use. |
