Because in DC the actual cbd/marijuana is the "free gift with purchase." You buy something else, they give you the edibles "gratis." It's a way to get around the law.

I've had a good customer experience at National Holistic Healing Center in Dupont. I also appreciate that they're woman-owned.

The medical cannabis retail experience is very different than going to a head shop and pretending to purchase a t-shirt in exchange for gratis products. There's no need to be shady when medical cannabis is legal and easy to acquire.

Omg just drive to Maryland you don’t need a medical card and you don’t need to go into some weird head shop and buy other products. You can just buy THC gummies at the dose you want from an actual dispensary, legally, for recreational use.
