IB courses start in 11th grade, with either SL or HL English. |

I'm assuming the OP meant PIB English 9 which does the 5.0 GPA like honors classes |

It was never really any different in 9th grade. They can call it IB English or Hon English. In tenth, most IB students take AP English. Stop whining about stuff you don't actually know. |
