Anyone have a bed for a boy that’s been great from childhood to teen years?

| My son has been in a regular full size bed since age 3. He is only 10 but I dont anticipate buying another bed while he lives in this house. My siblings and I all slept in twin beds our entire childhood, and in fact still do when we are visiting home! You're over thinking this. As long as its not a character race car bed, he will be fine. |

| Another vote for a full size bed. We got my son a full size with cubbies in the headboard. They’ve gone from holding stuffies, picture books and bed time story books when he was younger, to alarm clock, books and pictures now. Change out the bedding and improve the mattress as he grows. |

| If you can swing it in the space, get a queen bed. When they’re smaller and still want to snuggle or they’re sick, you can go in their bed with them and they don’t get in the habit of coming into your bed. A Queen because so many boys grow up to be six footers and they can fit in it. |

Trundle bed, a bed with another bed hiding underneath and could be pulled out. Really flexible with visitors and co-sleeping when child is sick. Some of them even of storage drawers.
Also get the foam mattress, they last forever and cheap and comfortable. |

If you child is tracking tall for his age, look at getting a Full XL. It is as wide as a Full but as long as a King.
My 10 year old is off the charts tall and we are about to move him to a Full Xl on a simple raised metal frame.
