How could it be worse? Easy. War with Iran and ethnic cleansing all the Palestinians. The Government of Israel has made a series of very bad and amoral decisions. That is true. But despite what you think the United States does not control them. We've had to react and so far our reactions, while not perfect by any means, have not made things worse. Heck, at this point Palestine is going to get formally recognized by the end of the year. That will be his legacy.

You don't seem to understand. Voters don't need to pick another horse. They can stay home and not vote. That's my plan. If that helps Trump get elected, so be it.

So you’d rather see Gaza obliterated and Jared building his fancy homes there? Some Einstein-level thinking there.

Ethically, I can not vote for a president who is aiding a genocide, so I'll stay home

Ok, stay home and watch Trump win. Watch Trump and his son in law Jared take control and let the IDF wipe Gaza.
Do you care about the people in Gaza at all?
If you cared one bit about Gaza, you wouldn’t let Jared take control. You only care about yourself.
The goal isn’t to vote for the perfect leader. They are both bad and flawed. The goal is to pick the less evil.

Biden, Trump and even Kennedy are reflexively pro-Israel. Sitting out this election/writing someone in is really your only option for protesting what Israel is doing. Now one might want to ask why the only people you can vote for are pro-Israel.

It's not accomplishing anything though. You're not going to find a pro-Hamas POTUS next time around because you sat this one out. You're basically just hurting your own interests at home since Trump and Biden are so different on US issues...

Trying to equating opposing man made famine to being pro hamas is getting old fast.

It might be hard for you to grasp, but these are the two parties in this war. You're pro-Israel or pro-Hamas. Nobody likes starving civilians.

It may be hard for you to grasp, but total war to eliminate terrorists is a step too far for most people. Civilized countries do not create famines as a means of war

Some of us in older generations who once had positive feelings about Israel no longer do. The country has lost its legitimacy and the sooner the entire world recognizes that and the U.S. defunds the racist murderers there the better. The Jews can find somewhere else to live but we should stop paying for them to brutally kill their neighbors. And I hope Netanyahu gets captured, tried by an international tribunal, and appropriately sentenced. He's no better than many put on trial before in The Hague or Nuremberg.

Pro-Hamas or pro-Israel are still the choices. Hamas is absolutely contributing to famine in Gaza and encouraging it.

There is no war. There is only one wealthy, barbaric country, protected by a large, super wealthy, powerful county starving and slaughtering the weak and defenseless. What’s happening is so barbaric and sociopathic that even a tree stump would cringe in horror.

Everyone in the world recognizes evil when they see evil.

Hey, genius, Gaza IS obliterated. Haven't you noticed? And this is what the pro-Biden, pro-Israeli faction doesn't seem to grasp. Biden has proven that he is willing, if not abetting, Israeli to destroy Gaza, to kill thousands of children, to murder hundreds of relief workers, to eliminate journalists, and to starve an entire population. Biden has proven this already with his months and months of behavior. His words have not resulted in any change in action. On the other hand, Trump is a wild card. He might continue to aid Israel, or he might not want to spend billions of dollars aiding a foreign nation that doesn't need our help. Either way, Biden has lost a significant portion of the young voting population, as well as enough voters who are seeing the horrors in Gaza that it is putting his presidency in jeopardy. If Biden loses, it is his own damn fault.

Yeah, Trump is going to cut off aid to Israel. You’re such a simpleton I have to wonder if you’re for real. 😂

What an amazing strategy Israel has pursued possibly the worst strategy ever following the heartbreak of 10/7.

First, the figure you cited (32K) comes from a designated terrorist organization, Hamas. Why would anyone believe that figure is credible, coming from the terrorists themselves? I don’t believe the death toll is anywhere near that high.

Second: Hamas terrorists are certainly included in whatever the real death toll number is. Have 32K Hamas terrorists died? 20K? Moreover, who cares about dead terrorists? Again, Hamas is a designated terrorist organization. All of Hamas should disappear, just as ISIS should.

Finally: are the civilian casualties on both sides horrific? Yes, of course! But Hamas is to blame here. 100%. The best thing would be for the people to rise up AGAINST Hamas.

But the Chain Bridge Road people are supporting Hamas, directly or indirectly.

They have the right to express themselves, of course - and I support their right to expression- but the second they block traffic or litter with faux blood, they should be sent directly to jail and explain their lawlessness to a federal judge.

Billions of people see you for exactly who you are. The mask has fallen as it did for SA. The unraveling of Israel is inevitable, and it is a real shame.

It's sad to see people embrace Hamas lies and become pro-terrorist.

Biden didn’t stop this, is the problem.

Biden didn’t wake up this morning, read the news, and say, the U.S will stop supporting Bibi in the UN and the ICJ. He read about the same war crime you did, and the deliberate killing of a U.S. citizen, and he did…nothing at all.

Biden couldn't do that, at the time, and he's been far more willing to criticize Israel than any administration since Bush 1.

He was given the world's biggest kaka sandwich at the world's worst time and has somehow miraculously preventing it from going global. That is a testament in and of itself.

That being said, the World Central Kitchen attack changes a lot.

Biden does not care about World Central Kitchen strike. There is a lot of talk that the US supplied targeting information for the Israelis in addition to supplying all the munitions. This happens every day in Gaza, Biden closely coordinates with Israel and has been coordinating from the beginning. There is no space between Biden and Israel even when Israel kills US citizens. Remember Israel is holding a bunch of US citizens and Biden only cares about Israel hostages. The same hostages the IDF and Israel government could care less about.

Word is Biden will arrest José Andrés and charge him with aiding hamas sometime this week.

You. Are. Deranged.

Biden is furious over the WCK strike. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/white-house/biden-outraged-killing-world-central-kitchen-workers-gaza-rcna146135

You are completely full of BS, living in some bizarro world. Please do everyone here a favor and just STOP posting your GARBAGE TAKES because you clearly have absolutely NO CLUE what is going on and are just making things up.

Just stop with your bullsh#t. It is well documented that the US is a full participant in this slaughter and Biden is cheering on the IDF. Over 200 aid workers targeted and kill plus 700 wounded so far. This is Biden’s war and genocide. Now US citizens are killed and Biden says Israel should try to kill less civilians? You are another Zionist propagandist.

Biden has a well documented track record of being a warmonger, as does his Secretary of State. His presidency played out exactly as I expected. You’d have to be really naive or desperate to expect anything from Biden.

That's one of the worst hot takes you've had. What Biden and Blinken have done to prevent this from spiralling into a regional war has been miraculous.

How could this be worse? Israelis have killed 32K Gazans, nearly half of them children, hundreds of thousands are starving, the infrastructure of Gaza has been destroyed, settlers are moving in droves to the West Bank, Israel are Iran are at the brink an escalated conflict, thousands of Israelis are protesting against Netanyahu, etc. Half the world thinks that the US is complicit in a possible genocide. Oh, and Israel has not managed to get back all of its hostages, while creating a new generation of Hamas. What an amazing strategy Israel has pursued possibly the worst strategy ever following the heartbreak of 10/7.

Biden will not do that. There is nothing in Biden’s long history that shows anything but contempt for the existence of the Palestinians. All he cares about is getting the Saudis to normalize relations with Israel. As part of that deal the US will arm the Saudis with nuclear weapons and commit US military’s to defend them. It is ludicrous. Like that will have an impact as Israel continues its genocide.

Israel is unimportant to the US strategically. Still Biden puts Israel first and US interesting last.

No Israel is totally to blame. Israel is a terrorist state the likes of which have not been seen since Nazi Germany. Israel must be occupied by the UN, stripped of local government and punished. War criminals must pay for their crimes,
