I have read a few treadmill related threads and many of you are not happy with Nordictrack (or Peleton for that matter)...do any treadmill recs for one 3.5k or under? Would like a treadmill that has a little bit of springyness like the high end Nordictrack. |
The only people who write about these things online are the unhappy ones - I wouldn't let reviews be the only thing that matters.
That being said, there are a few fitness equipment stores in the DMV. Where do you live? You could go try them. FWIW, the people in the Peloton Facebook group seem to love their treadmills, but you would need to shell out $40 or 60 a month for the subscription. |
they break and cost like 1/2 the value to get it fixed. For this reason, we got the cheapest one with some cushioning for under 1k at sams club after our nordic track broke -- ours broke due to a power surge, and our friends broke in the "elevated" position when she was walking. Go less expensive but decent. Unless you are like running marathons on the treadmill you do not need the super fancy version. Half the professional grade treadmills at my gym are regularly broken, lots of wear and tear. |
Best treadmill out there is a woodway, but very pricey. Landice also makes high quality treadmills. |
