Shower bubbling, Plaster cracking around 6 month old shower wall replacement please help

So our maintenance put new shower walls in and ne sheet rock above and on the sides of the shower wall panels anlso plastered around the to fill gaps, it is bubbling all around the top of the shower panels that were installed and the Plaster is cracking in areas as well. What may be a reason of this? Maintenance refuses to come and fix properly. Looking into escrow through courts till fixed. I would like an idea what may be cause or reason behind this due to company takes to many short cuts and never fixes properly. TIA for any knowledge on subject.

Sounds like a leak.

You just need them to paint with special no peel shower paint. It’s like $80 a gallon at Benjamin Moore. As at the counter for the name of it.
