| I am normally a size medium 8/10 in most clothes but when I did the size assist on Uniqlo it said the XL would be tight on me. Does this brand run extra small? Or is their size assist feature not accurate? |
|
I thought their sizing was inconsistent. Some shirts I tried were way too snug in my usual size, but the looser styles seemed huge.
I’ve only tried one style of linen pants, but they seem about right. I wish they had free returns—I like some of their stuff a lot, but I do have to try on in person. |
| The size charts are accurate but I’m usually an XL but I’m an XXL at Uniqlo for women’s t-shirts. Just use your measurements and the charts and you’ll be okay. |
| I am similar (more 8 on top, 10 on bottom) and I usually buy an L at Uniqlo even for sweaters and Ts. Randomly I got some L undies and they were too tight. |
| It's not vanity sized. It's Asian sizing for Westerners. |
Same. Runs very small. |
| I’m XS in most US brands but Uniqlo is too wide and too short for me in XS. I love their designs but the sizing is strange. The one category that fits me well are their puffers. |

Just keep in mind that the size charts are for the garments, not body.
So you need to take your chest measurement, add however much ease you want (2-4” usually), then divide by 2. That’s what you want for “body width.” |
| The clothes look boxy but I guess that’s the style. From what I saw in the store the sizing varies by item and the fit you prefer. |
Yep, my Asian husband looooves them, and I, the curvy Caucasian lady get an XXL in fitted items! Their styles the last few seasons have a LOT of oversized boxiness to them, as a PP mentioned, so I haven't tried or purchased many things b/c that's not a good look for me! |
| The size assist is totally broken on there in recent months! I wear an XS or sometimes even an XXS in their clothing and no matter what it recommends medium! So weird. |
