End of year tests

| I don't get it. They say the second semester grade will consist of 40% quarter 3, 40% quarter 4 and 20% exam grade. But that's not how MCPS grading works. They have the whole B+A=A thing. (???) |

Except now they have to factor in 20% of the exam for the semester grade. Hence the change in the calculation. |

Semester A+B=A as before, becomes AA for double weighting against the final.
AA + AA + C = A AA + AA + D = B AA + BB + A = A AA + BB + C = B BB + BB + D = B BB + BB + F = C BB + CC + F = D |

I don't think so. Because the first semester (Semester A) is not affected by this new policy; only the second semester (Semester B) is. |
