Hi,

Does anyone know good Federal recruiters in DC/MD/VA area? Looking for Federal jobs as a contractor in Software engineering field

And also any experience with Accenture federal recruiters?

this seems like you are coming at it sideways. If you specifically want a contracting job, then yes, you need to apply to the contracting firms that have won the contracts in the area you are interested in. Accenture, CGI, Booz Allen, Deloitte, Boeing, General Dynamics, CACI are some of the usual suspects. Most contractors never become feds.

If you want an actual federal job, then for the most part you apply for jobs on usajobs.com.

True most don’t, but at our office vast majority were contractors first.
