How long to keep fresh noodles in the fridge?

How long do packaged fresh noodles last in the fridge? I have some asian noodles that I bought some time last week. They have a metallic smell. I can't tell if it came from the pan I cooked them in or the noodles themselves. Anyone know how long "fresh" noodles last? No eggs in the ingredients. TIA

Were they vacuum sealed? Slimy when you removed them? Is it the water that smells? Did you taste one?

No, not slimy. The have a dusting of flour and were dry. I didn't smell them before they were cooked. I did eat them and they didn't have a bad taste and so far no ill effects. I guess the answer is, several days!
