One of my kid’s teachers still hasn’t updated Studentvue grade book with final grades from Canvas. I assume grades can be changed after the deadline via the counselor or dept head?

No, counselors and department heads cannot change / update grades.

Canvas is not perfect with syncing grades to synergy. Sometimes when a grade is completed late (maybe as a make up from an absence), the "system" does not upload it into synergy. Students will need to tell the teacher that mistake was made and the teacher will then need to enter the grade "by hand" into synergy. Canvas and synergy has many bugs in the system.

Synergy/Canvas are the absolute worst. Please bring back Gradebook. That was so much easier for everyone.

If there was a mistake, yes, the grades can be corrected. But it requires a separate form.

One of my kids teachers didn’t get an assignment graded so everyone got a 50%. Dropped my kid down a grade and I’m sure there are others in that position.
