This probably happened ages ago and I missed it. Were they sold to a restaurant group? Just had a watery latte. Not expensive, but wouldn’t want another. Update me, please. What’s the story?

Their lattes are usually decent so maybe yours was messed up somehow. Elmo's was sold, at least a decade ago, and is now owned by the same people who own Market 2 Market and Cafe Pizzaiolo.

The coffee was never particularly good, it's more about the location and the vibe. If you're willing to try Misha's, ESP is nearby and good (the awful owner is gone)

I’m not a coffee drinker but have heard the coffee is great at Gustave, a newish French cafe and bakery down the street from st Elmo’s.
