| Where do you all go locally to purchase cleats? Dick's in-store selection is limited. Our go-to, soccer.com, is a shipping hit or miss. |
where do you live? |
| If your kid is young and still growing / you aren’t sure this will be their sport forever, try a consignment shop like Play It Again Sports. I always have luck finding cleats in decent shape there, for a fraction of the price. I deodorize them and scrub them with some Oxyclean and a toothbrush, and they honestly always clean up well. |
And how old is your kid? Rec or travel? |
Check the columbia pike Dick's if it's convenient for you. They have a pretty great selection. There are also soccer-specific stores like Rockville soccer. Also, the Adidas and Nike websites have easy returns if you want to go through the trouble of trying them on at home and sending back the ones that don't work. |
| I use Zappos and/or Amazon - there's a much bigger selection and you can get cleats that fit wide feet (Copas). |
| OP here - Ashburn, my daughter is 13. She's on a travel team. |

Springfield Soccer
7261 Commerce St, Springfield, VA 22150 This is where we go to get my son's cleats now that he's playing travel. We found better prices here than at Soccer.com or Dicks on the same shoes. That said, the in-store size selection can be limited, and we still end up at Dicks a lot of the time (there's one just down the road from this store). When he played rec, we just got shoes off Amazon or Zappos and they were fine. |

I have found that sometimes you need to go to multiple places and/or order online. I have had good luck at the soccer store on Wilson Blvd in Arlington and PJ Sports in Falls Church. When they are out / don't have the size I need (my DD has difficult feet to fit). I have ordered from Zappos, Amazon, and Soccer.com.

| Would be a hike for you, but we've had great experiences getting cleats at Springfield Soccer. |

I usually will go to Dick's first and see what's there (it's hit or miss). The Dick's at Dulles Town Center is pretty great at stocking top tier shoes. |
| PJ sports is great. |

I purchase soccer cleats from Unisport (https://www.unisportstore.com/footballboots/)
They have great cleat review videos (also training videos) and the best selection of artificial grass cleats I've found. |
If you’re open to Play It Again, the closest one is in Leesburg. |
| We've always purchased all our kid's soccer cleats (outdoor, indoor, etc) from Dick's off Columbia Pike. They have a huge selection and always have the sizes in stock. |
