Is it dark chocolate with a high cocoa percentage? What is a "2023-2023" expiration date? It's usually something like "BB 02142023" (feb.14 2023). Details? |

| We exchange presents for the holidays. Some expired in 2022 and some in early 2023. I wouldn’t have known except I was about to open one of them and saw it was expired. Then, I saw all of the chocolates were old. |

It's clearly toxic, please send it my way. - microbiologist (It's probably still good. There might be a sugar bloom on it, which could affect taste or texture, in which case you melt it for yummy hot choc. And obviously it was an oversight on your friend's part.) |
