UIUC/GTech CS acceptance rate for OOS?

DS got rejected from both UIUC and Georgia Tech CS major tonight. Just wondering what the acceptance rates are for both as an OOS?

Does this mean no chance for UVA (EA) and other higher ranking colleges (RD)?

Both are extremely low for oos. I know Stanford cs admitted being rejected by gt

DS is a junior and interested in both for CS. Do you mind sharing stats?

UIUC is around 2% for male OOS students

Not sure on GT. I believe they claim they don’t admit by major. Seems to me they must take it into consideration.

My high stats CS son was rejected from UiUC but WL at GT. All WL/Rejections on RD from
reach schools. Brutal.

Happy at UMD. That was always a top choice since we are instate.

No stats are high enough to ensure admission at these schools, especially for CS.
