McKinley Tech vs. Roosevelt HS

My child is passionate about STEM. We are currently in MD and possibly moving to DC next year. It’s a long shot but, I’m looking for the pros and cons of McKinley Tech vs. Roosevelt HS. Any of you familiar with both schools and have some thoughts to share? Thank you.

Original poster here- forgot to say, we are looking at the STEM program at Roosevelt (prob goes without saying but wanted to emphasize that).

Note that ERHS is fairly competitive to get into and you need to live in the northern half of PG or you would be zoned to Oxon Hill.
If you are buying look at Greenbelt in bounds for ERHS and then even if you child doesn't test into the STEM program they can still take advantage of some of the course work.

So then you should post in the DC schools forum, as that is where the people who know about DC schools would be

Personally I would stay in MCPS for their BLAIR SMAC program, Poolesville SMAC program or Richard Montgomery
