C-Section at INOVA Fair Oaks

In all likelihood I'm going to need a c-section and planned on delivering at INOVA Fair Oaks.
Do they practice "gentle c sections" there? I am at peace with needing one but would like to have a clear curtain and have skin to skin/attempt to have baby latch ASAP if there are no complications. I have KP insurance so another option could be VHS in Arlington. Thanks! |

| For what it is worth, these were standard without a request at INOV Fairfax. You’re probably fine! |

| Hi OP, I’ve had 3 kids via c section the last 5 years. They do all those things you request! Unfortunately all 3 of mine were preemies and needed NICU care but they did absolutely everything possible to assist with bonding (including brief holding before being whisked away to NICU - baby safety first of course)! Can’t recommend INOVA fair oaks enough. |
