The prepping thread got me thinking. I have zero interest in surviving an event where this guy would need to use his bunker!
Trying to survive zombies? Pass Surviving a nuclear strike so it is just me and maybe my family alive in the immediate area? Pass Day after tomorrow event? Maybe but generally pass I just have zero interest in having to fend for survival like that or being one of the only left alive. What's actually the point? |

Nope. I like living at ground zero.
For those who want to survive a nuclear attack they should watch Testament from the 80's or read On The Beach by Nevile Shute and decide if that's really how they want to live. We're all going to die; it only matters how you want to live. |
+1 Why those people in Walking Dead hang on is beyond me. |
| If power is knocked out and I have no way to make coffee, I wouldn't last a week. |
People make coffee without power every day. Boil water and use a pour over. |
| Would I want to? No, but I have a wife and kids so would make an effort to survive whatever. I'll have to watch Mad Max with DW to see if she's on board |
I would survive nuclear war by hoarding all the remaining coffee and bartering my way to being ruler of Folgers Town |
| I’m not as concerned about zombies these days given that the Republicans are attacking various people IRL. |
| If my kids are alive, I'd do whatever it takes - if they die, I have no interest in going on. |
| No intrest. |
See I wouldn't want my kids to have to live in a post apocalyptic world. Trying to survive like that sounds awful. And what happens if you die and they have to fend for themselves. |
+1 I dont want to live in a world that's a disaster version of the one I know. This one's bad enough. |
| Nope, I don't even go camping. |
So you would kill your kids?!?!? |
Right? No, thanks. |
