Would you want to survive an apocalypse or similar?

The prepping thread got me thinking. I have zero interest in surviving an event where this guy would need to use his bunker!

Trying to survive zombies? Pass
Surviving a nuclear strike so it is just me and maybe my family alive in the immediate area? Pass
Day after tomorrow event? Maybe but generally pass


I just have zero interest in having to fend for survival like that or being one of the only left alive. What's actually the point?

Nope. I like living at ground zero.

For those who want to survive a nuclear attack they should watch Testament from the 80's or read On The Beach by Nevile Shute and decide if that's really how they want to live.

Would I want to? No, but I have a wife and kids so would make an effort to survive whatever. I'll have to watch Mad Max with DW to see if she's on board
