NIPT/NT and non-high risk pregnancies

| I am newly pregnant and 30, scheduled to have my first ultrasound in a few weeks at my longtime OB-GYN practice. On their website, it says that they offer NIPT but not NT at the office. From what I've read, I would ideally like to get both. Is an NT scan something I can probably easily get done at another office, or do I need to change practices altogether? I'm surprised that they don't offer it as this is one of the big groups that delivers at Inova (Nova group for women). |

| My OB sent me to the MFM at Inova Fairfax hospital for the NT scan. Ask if yours offer this as well? |

| We had to go to an MFM for the NT scan. The regular OB-gyn’s office did not have the machine or the tech. |

| I’ve always been offered both but I’ve noticed from talking around that every practice is a little different. |
