Is this an Everyday Casual Bag?

I've been living in leggings and athleisure for the past decade. Kids now in middle school, and I just started wearing jeans again! So excited, but not sure what bag works for jeans. (I usually carry around my Trader Joe's cotton tote bag. I'd like to look less sad. )

I normally wear jeans, a tucked in breton shirt or plain neutral cashmere or cotton sweater, and black leather sneakers or chelsea boots. Super basic because I don't know what else to do. Fashionistas, please weigh in.

1) Does this bag work with everyday jean and sneakers?
2) Is this this lighter color is only for summer and maybe I should opt for taupe for year round versatitlity?
3) For when I do opt for athleisure/hoodies, what bag can I wear besides my TJ tote. Like, my only other bag is a black fanny pack. I know I can do better...

You will very likely get denim transfer on this light a color bag.

will this also have issues with denim transfer? i didn't even know this was a thing, but makes sense. PSA this happened to a beige patent leather bag that i stored next to a burgundy bag. i just thought the patent was fussy.

I’ve heard of the LV taupe leather getting transfer, so it’s always a potential issue with anything light.

If you like totes, what about a leather tote? not a huge one but basically the same cut as your TJ bag but leather

The top handke makes it an awkward crossbody. Jets in the way of sitting down, bending over etc

It's an interesting design, but it seems quite impractical on a daily basis. Plus the pale color will show marks more easily.

If there's somewhere you could go to try it on, that would be best.

I’m not trying to be mean but why did you wear only leggings for 10 years? I don’t understand the motivation and what prevented you from wearing jeans or skirts in the summer? I only wear leggings to the gym, so we are clearly different in that regard, but wearing leggings every day just never occurred to me.
