VCU arts ranking and yield?

VCU arts website says it's regarded as a top graduate school, but does anyone know where it stands for it's undergrad program?
Also, they list their acceptance rate but not their yield rate. I am guessing most in stage students who apply would strongly consider the program if they got in, but I didn't see a way in the Common Data Set to get information for VCUarts, it clumps entire VCU together in the CDS.

Undergrad arts program is consistently rated one of the the top 3 public arts programs in the US--often #1. If you include privates it's within the top 5-10.

I don't think USNWR makes an undergraduate program ranking, but you can extrapolate from the quality of the MFA.

It would also be interesting to see the retention rate after first year. Art foundations can be brutal for a lot kids.

I don't think so.

My kid's art form isn't offered at any of those schools. It is at VCU. Plus instate tuition is hard to beat, if you're from VA (we aren't).

He wouldn't pick SAIC, Yale, CMU, or NYU over VCU.

Previous VCUart student here. I graduated a year early with honors in 2015 after majoring in “com arts,” or, illustration and design. This year I made over 550k.

Your student studying art will be fine if they can apply themselves, unlike the small-minded and uninformed commenters above. Of course this is a “DC moms and Dads thread” pathetic.
