The Ballston Macy's is finally closing. I always wondered how it stayed open at all. I shopped there when I lived in Ballston in the early 00's, and it was always a ghost town.

| Oooh, I might have to head there to see if there's anything worth buying on deep discount. It's basically the only place you canny gloves and hats in person anymore. |
| Sales? |

I used to live there (and shop there)!
What is the status of that mall now: is there still a mall? |
| I tried to go there a year or two ago and it barely had any clothes. It was so weird. I do not mean they did not have clothes I liked. I mean they just spread the racks out really far apart. So I doubt there is anything there worth buying in a closing sale. I think they have been closing slowly for years. |

I like the mall itself it’s all pretty new and nice - we go there for lunch sometimes with the kids
Echoing there likely isn’t much left. Popped in looking for tights about a month ago and they just don’t have anything like that at all, no hose at all inside a department store |
