dog & waterproof couch cover

Anonymous
My 9-year-old dog hasn't ever been allowed on our couch -- but does sleep on my bed on his own blanket, at the foot! -- and now that he's a bit achy with joint discomfort has been asking to snuggle up with me in the evenings. He is a large, very stinky dog that sheds like you wouldn't believe.

I'd like to get a cover that is not ugly and is waterproof, easily machine wash- and dry-able, and won't slip and slide all over the place. Thinking we'll just fold up the portion when a human wants to sit and keep the blanket laid out for him.

Any recommendations?

Orvis. Their pet products are pricey but really well made and do what you describe. If you can hit a sale the price becomes more manageable.
