Big fork, big spoon, little fork, little spoon
Big fork, little fork, big spoon, little spoon Something else? Knives I assume are at either end (actually I assume they're at the left end). |
| Oh no. Same order as a plate setting. Little fork, big fork, big spoon, knife, and little spoon above. |
| My DH just refuses to acknowledge we have two sizes of forks. He literally never will. I’m working on acceptance. |
|
Servingware, spoons all sizes, forks all sizes, butter knives. Steak and utility knives stored on a magnet elsewhere.
My drawer only has 4 sections, and I've never thought any were missing. |
| My divider has 5 sections but they're large enough to make 2 piles each so: big fork, little fork; big spoon, little spoon; butter knives. Then there's a section at the bottom which for now holds smaller size flatware (spoons and forks) for my kids but will eventually transition to something else. |
My silverware drawer has slots that are all next to each other (with one large slot on the bottom, but there are seven vertical slots) so I can't put the spoons above. |
I'm so sorry for your plight, but this made me laugh out loud! |
|
From L to R: big fork, little fork, little spoon, big spoon, knives.
Weird stuff like cheese knife and baby spoon: above. Serving spoons in a different drawer. |
| If it's real silver, you keep in a felt lined box. Otherwise, buy a plastic flatware divider and the order is obvious. |
DH appears to be married to 2 women at the same time. Me too, girl. Me too. |
Three. I have to accept a mixed fork drawer if he unloads the dishwasher. |
|
Our silverware only has 4 compartments so it's knives, forks, little spoon, big spoons.
And try not to get stuck with a little fork |
Oh! This is so helpful! We use the above slot for kid size utensils, so ours is (L-R): knives, big fork, little fork, big and little spoons in one section with their heads at opposite ends. But as soon as we can get rid of the kid-size stuff, I’m going to switch to this. |
Same, but it’s spoons. |
| Big forks, little forks, knives, big spoons, little spoons |
