We are splitting our kids up into their own rooms and one will have a tiny room. We’re hoping to get a bed with drawers underneath so she doesn’t need a dresser. Does anybody have this one?
https://nicoandyeye.com/collections/kids-bedroom-beds/products/zen-twin-bed-with-drawers It seems nicer than IKEA but less expensive than Pottery Barn (and possibly just as well made). Any other recommendations? Kid is a tween so want something that will last her through teen years. |
| It's a good thing this one has all the drawers on one side. We have the IKEA with drawers on both sides and the night stand had to be placed near the wall instead of near the bed or we couldn't open the drawers. With limited space, we still cannot open the drawer near the nightstand fully. And the handle that juts out in the IKEA is annoying as you could hurt yourself. |

This review doesn’t sound great:

Ugh. Anybody know where I can find a bed with drawers for clothes that isn’t a piece of crap? |
| If you don’t want it to be expensive, I think IKEA is the best bet. I wouldn’t do any other flat pack for this personally because the construction requirements are so high. I think IKEA is the best for that. |
| We has a MaxTrix and it's held up great. We also bought one (don't know the brand) from Belfort that has held up great. Lots of options out there, OP. |

OP sometimes you can get Amish wood furniture for kids that is not too $$$, maybe like this?

This looks great. Is this company solid? |

we just built the Ikea Idanas storage bed for DD and it's really solid and comfortable feeling. So cheap on sale!
the main downside is it doesn't come smaller than a full. but highly recommended otherwise. |
This one? Looks like it comes in twin as well. https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/idanaes-bed-frame-with-storage-white-10459677/ |

We have the one below, for DD in a small room. When she was younger, we used it as a twin to maximize floor space, for playing. Now she is 11 and prefers a bigger bed, so we pulled it out slightly and put a full/double mattress on it. We moved across country once and partially disassembled/reassembled it. It has held up great, solid as a rock.

No actually the upholstered one, but this looks good as well if you don't mind the tall footboard! https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/idanaes-upholstered-storage-bed-gunnared-pale-pink-20447189/ Super solid. |
What about a “floating” nightstand? |
What is that? |
| In a tiny room, I think pulling out bed sized drawers is as much of an issue. My son was in a very small room (only one way to fit a twin bed and still open the door), we still managed a small dresser and book case. We also lofted the bed when he was older. The large drawers under a bed are much better for linen storage, and things you don't access daily. |
