Sharing that my son's daycare, which we love, has open spots. They have their own playground and are a non-profit (vs the many for-profit daycares that are popping up). It's on Wisconsin Ave near Tenleytown and the Wegman's/ City Ridge development. https://bcdconline.org/
I realize an Anonymous forum isn't the best for sharing personal experiences, but if you solicit experiences on any of the local listservs (Tenleytown, Cleveland Park, etc) there are many parents who would be happy to share their thoughts. |

Not sure where the hostility on this thread is coming from but my two kids attended BCDC and we had a wonderful experience. The teachers are warm and loving; many of them have been there for years. The kids get lots of outdoor time—I usually dropped the kids (toddler and preschool age) off and picked them up on the playground when the weather was decent. They also regularly bring in outside enrichment (no extra charge)—music class, magic shows, baby yoga. My kids always looked forward to these days! Communication from admin staff is good.
We have experience at two other childcare centers/preschools, and BCDC was definitely our favorite. |
Those messages from the 17th have all got to be the same person and they sound drunk. |
