Induction cooktop -Synchronized elements

| I'm looking at an induction cooktop and can't afford a full usable cooking surface, like a Thermador. Should I shell out for one with synchronized elements for a griddle, etc. (for example: https://www.mandmappliance.com/product/caf-30-slide-in-electric-range-chs900p-229270)? |

| I have a Bosch with griddle area and it’s useful if you make pancakes a lot. If you don’t, you probably don’t need it. |
